Cable Connections Certified for ISO 9001:2008 Compliance

Cable Connections recently received certification for their ISO 9001:2008 compliance. To achieve this recognition, Cable Connections adhered to the International Organization for Standardization’s most stringent standards of quality control consistently for years.

ISO 9000 is a group of standards for quality management systems maintained by the International Organization for Standardization. They help to ensure that manufacturers produce consistently high quality products with minimal failure, and that where malfunction in process is perceived, a correction is made. ISO 9001:2000 combined the 9001, 9002 and 9003 standards, and the 2008 updated version only introduced clarifications to existing requirements – no new requirements were added.

Some of the requirements to achieve ISO 9001:2008 certification include the implementation of a set of procedures that cover all key processes in the business, gauging processes’ effectiveness, maintaining meticulous, accurate records, identifying defects, executing corrective actions and facilitating continuous developmental improvement.

After being audited and certified in conformance with ISO 9001 by the appropriate ruling bodies, manufacturers are able to make publicly known they are ISO 9001 registered.

Cable Connections recently achieved the esteemed status of being ISO 9001:2008 registered, guaranteeing customers that their manufacturing processes are continuously evaluated for efficiency and high quality output. This accomplishment will help them expand the breadth of projects they are able to manage and facilitate communication with companies that require such stringent certification from their manufacturers.
