Wire Harness
In addition to manufacturing high quality cable assemblies for a wide range of functions, Cable Connections provides custom-built wire harnesses to meet the complex connection needs of many of our clients. Built to the client’s precise specifications and schematics, these harnesses may contain hundreds or thousands of preconfigured connections in an infinite number of possible combinations, all designed for seamless integration into existing frameworks.
Many industries (for example, aerospace, transportation, communication, medical or tech) rely on incredibly complicated wiring infrastructures in order to function. Countless connections are needed for RF, electrical, electro-mechanical, data transfer and other applications, all of which must often occupy the same small space. It would be exceedingly difficult (and in many cases, impossible) to make all these connections successfully on-site, requiring excessive amounts of labor and a fairly wide margin of error.
Cable Connections helps simplify this complex process by assembling a custom wire harness that is specifically designed for the application(s). Following a set of schematics, our technicians work meticulously to preconfigure each connection within the harness, all of which terminate at a single end point which can then be plugged into the system. All components within the harness are manufactured and assembled to the client’s specifications, each connection is thoroughly tested and inspected before delivery, and the entire process is documented in writing.
With our years of experience in this field, our team of dedicated experts and our proven quality assurance process, it’s little wonder that so many industries rely on us to “build it right the first time,” every time. Molded Components
For situations in which a cable assembly or wire harness requires immobility or additional layers of protection, Cable Connections can facilitate molded components for our clients who need them. The overmolding on these products can serve to keep the cabling or connections in place, protect them from the elements, or prevent them from being jostled by impact.
Molded components can take a variety of forms depending on the location and application. In some cases, only the connections need to be protected, while in other cases the client might request extra protection for a larger section of wires. Cable Connections will consult with our client to determine their specific needs, and design or arrange for custom molding to suit.
